we're back!

we just returned home from a wonderful week with family in utah. we had a BLAST! with only a week to spend there, i didn't get much time to venture out and shop around at some of my all time favorite home decor stores. there's always next time i guess...

they have so many fun little finds! accessories galore, jewelry, wonderful gifts, and some great furniture finds every now and then. i love browsing through this store when i have at least 30 minutes. there is just so much to look at!

hudson does it again

bean and i went for a little walk on saturday while mason helped someone move. we were down in the south end and decided to stop in at hudson. here is a little bit of what we saw...

i also had the chance to see my dream rug in PERSON!

oh, i love this dash & albert rug! my mom and i just decided this needs to join her dining table and chairs in the dining room. amazing, right?

and i saw a rug i spec'ed for a client. it was the first time seeing it in person. so much better in person than viewing it online! it was nice to be reassured.

i can't wait to see this under her kitchen table!

at first, i was sad i didn't get to go to the beach that day.

after visiting hudson, i was one happy chic.

all in all, a great saturday.

i want to surround myself with these crowned goodies all day long! aren't they darling? i want each gift topped with these accessories and tags, my couch filled with crown pillows, crown prints splashed on my walls, and a nice embroidered crown napkin to blot the soy sauce off of my lips tonight (yes, we're going out for SUSHI!) oh, the daydreaming... hope you can go to your place of royalty today. if not, just enjoy the images!

rosanna, my love

i just can't seem to get enough of rosanna.  this tableware and accessories company makes the cutest products.  i discovered these when a dear friend of mine gave me one of the dessert plates to say thanks for a baby shower i threw her.  what a cute thank you gift, right?  

each piece could be used as such a fun accessory on a bookshelf, a console table, or a kitchen counter.  it would be lovely to have a set of dessert plates from rosanna!  maybe that will just have to be added to my long {and getting longer} wish list.
