design board giveaway

as mentioned in this post, i am having a design board giveaway right now to kick off my e-design.

i am starting to take on clients for online design, which will make it possible for ANYONE to take advantage of my room designs. for a flat rate, i will design a room for you and present it to you visually on a mood board. not only will this enable you to see the piece all fit together for your potential room, but it will also give you the sources for buying each piece.

e-design is great for those of you out there who are wanting to do all the hard work of pulling a room together, but don't quite know where to find the right pieces or how to pull the room together completely.

another missed destination

we've been out of town this last week. HEAVEN! don't you just love a good vacation?

speaking of,

going to alice lane was on the top of my to do list for our trip to utah (a month ago).

time filled itself with family, eating out, hiking, eating out, swimming, and eating out some more. we couldn't have had more fun! but, oh how i was craving a trip to alice lane! the store is BEAUTIFUL! i love the layout, the accessories, and every other little thing about it. the owner, jessica bennett, is one talented lady! she really has an amazing eye. when i was pregnant with bean, i went in there and chatted with her for a while. she was very encouraging about my design business and gave me many helpful hints. i saw that her last name was bennett (with two t's) and that's what sealed the deal on our son's name. well, the spelling, at least.

oh, to go to alice lane. i guess i will just have to browse their website and blog until my next trip out west...
