ooooo baby

when we were in cailfornia for our girls trip (back in may... do you think i'm behind much?), we took an evening to pull together my nieces' nursery. my sister.in.law and i brainstormed the previous weeks and came up with a design plan. then, being very pregnant, she was able to put the plan into action by collecting the items, painting the room, and sewing the pompoms on the curtains.

this room is for two little girls. the idea was to avoid pink and stay away from the cliche "nursery."

here's what we did in one night
- rearranged the room
- hung the curtains
- brought in the glider
- set up the second crib
- prepared bedskirts to be sewn
- hung some of the artwork
- organized bookshelf and toy/blanket bins

here are some previews to the room:
(don't judge... pictures were taken while setting the room up)

... i really need to sign up for a photography class!

we had so much fun packed in her room trying to get as much done as possible. my sister in law is a good sport to put up with all of us! thanks, amy! it was so fun putting this together with you!
